Wildhearts fans beware, do not buy the PHUQ 2010 re-issue set from Cherry Red Records/Lemon Recordings

Given the re-issue sets genuinely have very little coverage (or more like NONE) online I assumed all would be fine with them, they seemed great. However I should have clocked that wasn’t the case when I saw my brand new copy did not come with a cardboard sleeve…at first I believed that was the problem of Amazon, but no, according to other people none of the sets have the advertised cardboad sleeve! That’s not my main problem though…

Today I decided to dig into the b-side disk and discovered through some shit mistake that either East-West hadn’t sent all the original masters, or the people who put together all the audio tracks made 3 massive twatting mistakes.

PROBLEMS: Mindslide, Friend For Five Minutes, S.I.N. (In Sin) (aka tracks 4, 5, 6) all have their original b-side time constraints. But guess what? They don’t include those fucking songs! Instead you get:

Track 4) Mindslide - Sick of Drugs ending/Underkill start
Track 5) Friend For Five Minutes - Underkill ending/Bad Time to be Having a Bad Time start
Track 6) S.I.N. (In Sin) - Bad Time to be Having a Bad Time ending/60 seconds of Sky Chaser High

Thankfully Siddas from the Official Wildhearts Forum has sent me the 3 missing tracks which I am eternally grateful for (Wildhearts fans are amazing), but this has put me off ever investing in the other 2 disk re-issues, which included Earth Vs The Wildhearts/Fishing For Luckies/Endless, Nameless because I don’t want any other absolutely horrific mistakes.

Seriously, the fan service idea is nice, but Cherry Red/Lemon Recordings, who controlled these re-releases should be ashamed.

This is the end of the public service warning.
PS - I saw little (in all honesty just a little more than zero) coverage of these sets online, so please tell me if the other sets have similar mistakes.

EDIT: I’ve emailed Cherry Red/Lemon Recordings over the two mistakes (cardboard sleeves still advertised yet not actually being made for the CD case/track issues) so hopefully I’ll hear back soon given it’s a pretty big deal as far as every single site selling them has a confirmed tracklisting and guarantee of a sleeve etc.
