I love Mario Balotelli and his kindness →
He is so nice, he is so bloody talented, and frankly I find people who hate him to be akin to the Romans in the Bible. He is a modern day, existing Jesus, who gives money to all and has a sense of humour! He’s the anti-Andy Grey, which is a good thing (the only great thing Andy possessed was his diving heading ability for Everton, who I support, naturally). If he does get crucified then I...

Someone out there really likes me you’re never gonna be this side of ninety You’ll never feel the strength of wonder To get out of the shit I’m under Do I sense some depravation? I’ve got a toothache and I’m itching The face to face and loser zeros And I’m shouting and illegal We could be anywhere but you choose up there All the drinks, for fast You act like...

Random note, tumblr for the 3rd or so time has seemingly removed a bunch of people I was following…so yeah, if I just started refollowing you then it’s not due to me hating you etc, more for the oddities this site sometimes provides. This message will self destruct in 24 hours.

Iain Duncan Smith - The British Secretary of State...
Nick Robinson: What [taxpayers] don't like hearing about is the many, many thousands of people now who - because of cuts to disability benefit and cuts to employment and support allowance and cuts to housing benefit - are now really suffering.
IDS: But they're not suffering. The point about this is that what makes you suffer is the state that plunges you into dependency on the state. It does two things, it means bigger bills for taxpayers and it means your life and your children's lives will be blighted by being dependent on me, the secretary of state, to give you the money to live.
------------
MY THOUGHTS: If the left wing media was more cut throat and more like the utter neo-fascist right wing media then that's the headline you'd be seeing everywhere tomorrow. He is a failure (as are many component pieces of the Coalition, I'm not stupid) so fuck the benefit cap that has no true detail or thought. OH, except for the fact that the Murdoch's of the World with political backing like to try to paint 'anyone you don't know' as the Boogeyman, even when all people found guilty of benefit fraud/abusing the system ON PURPOSE and such are such a slim percentage (see: less than 5% at worst) that it shouldn't even come into question.

Megaupload closed, no rant on piracy, just a rant... →
Okay, hmm, how do I feel about this? I will not talk about the piracy element at all because you will have read 20,000 blogs essaying about it with statistics and facts over the last few days. Needless to say I don’t agree with it being taken offline but I shall mention my non-album leaking uploads related to mediafire instead of twattering on about it… Okay, the last thing I uploaded...

University, what a pile of considerable debt...
Yep, finally working out what I should do in regards to university. I somewhat thank whoever lost all of my paperwork etc for applying initially all those…wow, 4 years ago? Possibly 5? Due to the fact I have had a life of jobs, travelling around the country/going around internationally/playing music etc, but now I’d like to go to uni. Not for a career step, oh no, I want to go and...

When you realise there are only one or two more...
I love horrific films to have a purpose, let me state that first, yet…now I’m at the line of not really having anything that is relatively affordable to see. No, I’m not shelling out more than £50 for a copy of a 1000 print arthouse project from Denmark, sorry. The last film I really need to see is the 2009 Japanese film Grotesque. If you recognise that name, then yep, it is one...

letthemusic-dothetalking:
On Feb 17th Jubilee are taking over the Camden Barfly all night long to bring you a very special, exclusive show featuring The YoYo’s with Danny McCormack (ex Wildhearts), Rich Jones (Ginger Wildheart band, Amen, The Black Halos), Tom Spencer (ex The…

(via Psychology Today’s recent cover story, “Are You With the Right Mate?”)
“…Romance itself seeds the eventual belief that we have chosen the wrong partner. The early stage of a relationship, most marked by intense attraction and infatuation, is in many ways akin to cocaine intoxication,…

Wildhearts fans beware, do not buy the PHUQ 2010...
Given the re-issue sets genuinely have very little coverage (or more like NONE) online I assumed all would be fine with them, they seemed great. However I should have clocked that wasn’t the case when I saw my brand new copy did not come with a cardboard sleeve…at first I believed that was the problem of Amazon, but no, according to other people none of the sets have the advertised...

The Wildhearts rip money from my wallet far too...
Today I purchased the P.H.U.Q. special edition re-release from 2010 for a fair £8. It’s only £8…but it got me thinking about how much I’ve invested in The Wildhearts stuff again over the last three years, how I’ve pumped £50 into Ginger’s upcoming Pledge triple album set & DVD, and generally all the singles etc… Still, a CD set with one or two b-sides I...
